I just bought a jug to try out when my Hyperwash runs out. All the rave reviews caught my attention.

This is what I've been thinking too. It's been a slow push in that direction for a long time. Even when Mike was here and posting info/reviews it was predominately house brands with an occasional "outsider" like Dr. Beasely tossed in.

Back in the day - I mean way Back, when the only detailing forum was run by David B, the main stays for years have always been AG, ACC and a smaller mix of other places.
Sadly there have been new stores that have cropped up that carry a wider diverse set of stuff than the PBMG umbrella these days

When I bought it, I got it for around $15 for the gallon. Excellent product.

It is a nice soap. a local 3d store had a sale going on, on top of an online sale. I asked if they'd honor the online sale and they did.
Walked out with a 5 gallon bucket for 35$ - Yup. Excellent deal

Yea last time I bought a gallon it was like $17 bucks which was great value for what I consider a very good sudsy car wash shampoo with better than average cleaning power without any unwanted “conditioners”.
It’s crazy how everything has gone up is just the past couple of years.

That's because almost all manufacturers are still trying to play the "Shortage Game".
Low supply + high demand = record profits.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.
