I might buy a gallon of DIY next year. Unless something else comes out or owner's pride canada starts using some reasonable shipping companies. Shipping is ridiculous.
I agree with you on other uses for absolute. Favorite rinsless for that use.
ONR for all off label.

Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022
So does any rinseless product release dirt from the sponge and make it fall under the grit guard?

From my readings polymer based ones do that. Ones that are surfactant based seem to leave suspended in solution.
Yvan says it’s not an issue for DiY but I don’t get it.
If I’m using a spong I definitely prefer polymer based.
If using multiple towels then either.

Correct, using Bead Maker as a drying aid.
Of course, you don't need to use a drying aid, but those two work so well together.
I mist it on just before towel drying, which dilutes it down a bit but without compromising the gloss potential.

Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022
For DIY rinseless users, does it foam up when you agitate it with water? N914 does that when I top off the bucket or add water for any reasons after it's in the solution. A bit annoying because I mainly use a split 5 gallon bucket so I often have to wait for the foam to dissipate. Never experienced that with other rinseless solutions.

Gotcha. Totally read your other reply wrong. This is how I've also been using it for years.

DIY will foam. Don't agitate it...

Agreed, no need to agitate or top off, once measured out your good to go. I always make extra because I pre-treat, better to have a little extra than not enough. The extra can be used in the engine bay, wheelwells (even if they're clean, just spray it up in there and let it dry), dirtier jams and even the interior if you want to

For all you Absolute users. Per P&S don’t shake the bottle but swirl it. Also swirl it when poured I to the bucket. Reason being is the polymers will encapsulate each other.
