Polish with Griots fine glass polish for light stuff and Ceriglass by CarPro for trickier stuff like what happened to OP.

    Both contain cerium oxide.

    Re: Dont make my mistake

As i mentioned, the glass pushed me over the edge (as did the road trip in the mountains where 150hp wasnt enough) to buy a new car. Now of course the new car has grime, and i didnt catch the sales guy before letting the "Detailers" clean it.
The glass is grimy on the outside. I have several glass sealant options sitting on the shelf, including griots ceramic glass cleaner, adams glass sealant, and just straight up ceramic coating. That said, i want the class to be super clean before I do that. After my last ... attempt, i thought id solicit advice.

The plan is to clean the glass using the two towel method. (after washing the car) Then polish the windows with my Griots fine glass polish, on a Rupes yellow pad. Follow with Gyeon Prep, using torx windhsield towels for a final wipe.
Thoughts? Should i use my Griots synthetic clay on the glass prior to the polish?

Is it a brand new car?

I don’t think you really need to polish new glass. I’d clay and coat it.

It looks a little grimy and has some water spotting. I will try cleaning it and claying it first.

Yeah water spotting new…. That sucks.

Yeah clay bar 1st. If you have a waterspot remover or an acidic soap, try those too.

    Then polish if needed
