Compatibility with clay lube and CarPro Essence Extreme?
Just did the baggy test on my new Ford Maverick and it’s got a lot of embedded contamination. I just got some CarPro Essence Extreme to use before CQUK 3.0 & (probably Gliss v2). Is there any concern I should have with using any clay lube before the Essence? Have some Dodo Juice Born Slippery (iirc) that I’d like to use up. Also have Prima & Opt quick detailer or ONR I could use?

You are over thinking it. If you are worried about it use Eraser after claying prior to polishing.

Thanks Guz. I was wondering about over thinking it but if I’m going to do all the work then I don’t want to ruin it by using something that would work against it. The Born Slippy is called a shampoo based clay lube. May use eraser as a peace of mind step. It may be a few days between clay and polish.
