    For the uninitiated like me, please explain what SIC is, and give an example of that applicable product.

    SIC is the product that replaced the original CQUARTZ coating. It is a full coating in a glass bottle. It’s slightly different chemical makeup and better chemical resistance makes a good pairing on top of UK. It can be used on top of UK or on it’s own.

    I thought Cquartz UK 2.0 replaced the original?

    The Tio2 version I think. This happened before I started looking at coatings so I’m going off of what I read (and from memory). Sic (from what I saw online) just says CQuartz on the package.
