What's the latest and greatest for upholstery/Carpet cleaners?

Man do I miss my extractor! If I could swing buying a trailer it would be the 1st thing I'd get!
So I've been reading all old thread posts and thought to start something more recent on the subject. And obviously for non extractor options.
I know folex is good. I also forgot who posted allot of great info on his knowledge, from going to his local extractor dealers seminars. He really new his S**T!!!
I did learn back in the day from the guy that sold me mine, He showed me how to spray the spots and start by hitting straight down with a flat bristle brush and a curved handle, several times before going back and forth. To much to explain why now. But have been doing it that way ever since. I also like to make the vacuum lines on the final pass. By dragging one direction then the other, going with the grain then the opposite and it makes a nice freshly cleaned look.

Also depends on the type of stain so that’s why I bought Meguiar’s D106 Fiber and Tannin Stain Remover.

The Tornador also has an enzyme and regular cleaner that is supposed to work well with a vacuum and is really good at removing stains and dirt in carpet. Probably the closest to being an extractor without being an extractor.

There are a lot of good uph. cleaners , Folex is one of them , Tuff Stuff, Blue Coral , and others. On vinyl and leather and plastic I use Murphy Oil soap spray. It cleans great and leaves a nice finish . On fabric I use ammonia and water 4 to 1 or 3 to one depending on how dirty the fabric is..after the ammonia and water dries it takes all the oders with it, and does not attract dirt like other cleaners.

With ammonia and water you just dunk a towel in the solution , wring out and wipe the fabric down

The Duragloss Upholstery Cleaner (spray can) is also really good.

I just ordered a new Mytee 8070. I know some of you own extractors and was truly hoping to get advice on the solution to use. I have plenty of good spotting cleaners. But need one that dilutes with/in the extractor.
    Thanks in advance.

I recently picked up some of this to try for the 1st time.

I bought a new 5 Gallon Ridgid Vac for dry vacuuming and I’m planning on converting my 16 Gallon Ridgid into wet Extraction duty. I’ve got an extractor nozzle getting delivered today so I’m kinda excited to try it out. Nothing too fancy. Looking to step up from the Bissell SpotPro.
