I also use the Nanoskin clay blocks. The only issue I have with them is that they mar the finish really badly. But if I'm correcting a hammered vehicle it won't matter anyways.
When I got heavy into Optimum this past summer I picked up their clay towel, and it's really nice. It's a lot more gentle than the Nanoskin pads, and very effective.
But I'm using clay today, and I used it over the weekend. Grey Megs over the weekend, and the blue c2000 here at work.
Dito! Use the grey allot. I have the mitts and 5" pads for time sensitive jobs.

I wanted to get the Optimum towel this past spring but had a hard time finding them for whatever reason. They're expensive, no?

6 month bump.
Has anyone tried the new style clay mitts? It has a different surface than Nanoskin.

Re: Favorite Clay Bar (or similar) Product?
I tried using my Nanoskin claymitt today for the 1st time in a while on some single stage paint that only needed a quick do over since I had fully clayed and polished it about 3 weeks ago [but didn’t finish it off with lsp] and not only did it start ruining my claymitt, but the claymitt started leaving brown skidmarks on the white paint. Has anyone else had negative results using synthetic clay on single stage paint?
I switched to the Megs Aggressive Claybar after doing 1 side of the roof with the claymitt and everything went smooth with the clay.

I've not had a problem and I use the towels and mitts. I do now they like a ton of lubrication. How old is the mitt Eldo?
