My Poorboy's Spray & Rinse review with pics!
As many of you may know, I recently had great success with this product on my Z06 wheels. The brake dust was baked on so bad that even clay + Klasse AIO would not put a dent in it. After 2 rounds with Poorboy's Spray & Rinse, followed up by some Duragloss 501, this is what I ended up with. I completed this process about a week ago but lost my SD card for my camera...so this is after a quick cleaning today, and I apologize for the lack of "before" shots.
Since I could not get before shots of the Z06 wheels, I decided to put it to the test on my parents' 2008 Highlander. I rinsed the wheel real good, sprayed S&R on the wheel/tire completely, let sit for 5 minues, then rinsed thoroughly. The wheel was COMPLETELY UNTOUCHED. Just sprayed and rinsed. The pics will do the talking.
Overall this product gets an A+ in my book. Not something I'd use every wash on my own car since I keep my wheels sealed, but great for an average person's car, especially if you're detailing and the wheels are not sealed beforehand.

I was wondering the same thing a few weeks ago, so I sent an e-mail out to Steve from Poorboys World. This was his response:

It will not harm clearcoats, plastics, or chrome platings. It will dull an uncoated polished rim while cleaning it.
Most people only use it full strength if their wheels are in poor condition. People with hard to clean wheels will usually use Wheel Sealant after cleaning and polishing and not need the S&R after the initial cleaning.
Some with just hard to clean wheels, will use it diluted as their maintenance without any harm to the wheels.

Looks like it will be safe for most wheels except non clear coated / polished aluminum wheels.
The wheels look great BTW Matt. I think I will try that out sometime soon as well

I would add ....
1. Cool Wheels Only
2. Wet Wheels First
3. Spray Liberally and sit 1-2 minutes
4. Flush Well with water
NEVER USE ON UNCOATED ALUMINUM WHEELS

Great advise when using any "strong" wheel cleaner!

How does this compare cleaning wise to Megs wheel brightener? I use it at 4:1 on terrible wheels but I always am affraid its too powerful, is S&R like a safer WB?

Re: My Poorboy's Spray & Rinse review with pics!
I used this product and really liked it. One thing that really bothers me is the wheel cleaner is so strong that it literally "eats up" the sprayer. Not even rinsing it with a spray cycle has helped me. So I kinda set it aside, as buying a new sprayer every time I clean wheels will cost me more then using P21S gel wheel cleaner.

Factory polished aluminum wheels are always clearcoated.
