Black Again trim restorer
I've always had good luck with this product but it's been many years since I've used it and my bottle has dried up.
Should I consider any other products? Any real advances to the state of the art?

Solution Finish.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

If trim is faded but not “ashy” I like a trim coating.
1.5 years on faded 2014 Rav4 cladding and got it to look new. Been 1.5 years.
I used Cerakote trim coating.

Does Solution Finish have dye in it? One of my vehicles has black trim but my Traverse has charcoal trim... And lots of it.
In one of the discussions I found it was pointed out that some of the restorers are so tenacious that you have to do a lot of prep masking off to make sure you don't get any where you don't want it. I think Wolfgang was one of those. I don't want to apply something that can't be removed.

SF is made from refined graphite. It's like a dye so wear gloves.
I've never taped when applying SF. If you get it on chrome or painted surfaces just wipe it off.
Be sure to top off with their topper or Wolfgang.
