    Heavy Duty handheld Vac

Does one exist ? I detail for $ and need something for the carpeted section of truck rigs as well as upholstery/carpet in vehicles. I have a Ridgid 6 hp shop vac that's really good, but not carrying that obviously.

It can be corded/cordless but it has to be portable and nearly commercial grade worthy. Not sure there is one without paying big $, if even then.

    Thanks

    Re: Heavy Duty handheld Vac

I came up with a brilliant idea - my Craftsman 5hp shop vac broke, and we had an old Dyson cordless vacuum sitting in our basement. I hung it on the garage and with its various attachments, it works well. Much lighter and easier to handle, and don't have to worry about the shop vac rolling down my driveway. The shop vac is for sure more powerful, but the portability of the Dyson is very appealing (and it was sitting in my basement).

I've been eyeing the Milwaukee cordless compact vac 0882-20 for this. I have a few batteries but I would probably end up getting another battery for it. Can still attach standard vac attachments to it while being a handheld vac.

I’ll add a vote for DeWalt but it obviously helps if you are already into their battery system.

Hover porta power portable commercial vac. I’ve had mine since 1990 and it has all the power you will ever need. Available on Amazon for around $125.00

This ? (if I can post this?)

    Amazon.com

Actually was getting ready to order and found the Oreck handheld for $20 less and not many issues. I will try it. There were some negatives about the redesign of the Hoover but I will try it if this doesn't work. Thx again for the responses.
