drying towel , 1 big towel or 2 small ones?

Guys do you prefer to buy a bigger drying towel like a 28 x 34 inches ( 30 $) or 2 smaller drying towels like a 16 x 24 for 32$. Same towel , just the sizes are different.

Most of my towels drying towels fall somewhere in the middle , I m trying to decide which route to go. I tend to use rinseless washes in the winter and in the summer I usually use a blower as my first drying aid , finish with a drying towel.

    opinions?

I own and use both sizes and honestly wouldn't want to be limited to one size

If I had to be limited I would choose a smaller towel simply because of the chance of dragging a full size towel on the ground when you are working down low

I use larger towels after bucket washes and smaller towels (16x16) for lower portions of the car and for drying after rinseless washes.

Like chilly, if i had to pick one, it would be the smaller size.

Both. Problem with bigger is i have a speedmaster notorious big drying towel. 26 x 36. Awesome towel!! But can't wash it in washing machine. Too big and heavy when wet. It will toss the washing machine around like a discarded beer can. Have to wash it by hand. i just got a bunch of Rag co. Gauntlet 20 x 30 DRYING TOWELS. Again, awesome towels and no issues in the washing machine.

On a side note, all the money i spent on drying towels over the years, i could have just had a blower dryer. But i am sure at 6am on a Saturday morning the neighbors would not take kindly to that.

One big PFM will dry my minivan. I do use a water blade to push off idle water on the roof.

I use one big for roof and hood and one small for all vertical panels. PFM, no questions about that.

Sound advice. I personally like the big towels especially for the roof and hood. Smaller towels are better for the lower sections but I still fold the smaller towels to make sure that no part of it will hit the ground.
