Sound advice. I personally like the big towels especially for the roof and hood. Smaller towels are better for the lower sections but I still fold the smaller towels to make sure that no part of it will hit the ground.
Well I'm only 5'6" so a big towel makes drying easier for me but even someone average height or a little taller a big towel helps them if they've got an SUV or truck

I use two 40x60 Detail Popo Twisted Rains. I can do basically my whole 2014 300C with one, then go over it again with the second to get all the nooks/crannies/streaks etc and the second stays mostly dry.
I couldn't see using one 2-3x as large due to the weight when wet and the medium sized ones just make it easier...
I have the big blue ones sold at Wally World for $4.99. Managed to dry the Explorer ST with just one last week & didn't need to wring it out.
