The G8 1" extension kit with one of each of their 1" pads is supposed to be available ~mid March.

It's not a kit with a G8. It will be the 1" extension, a 1" black pad, a 1" yellow pad, a 1" orange pad, a white pad, and a microfiber pad. Haven't seen a price yet but that would save you from having to buy a 6 pack of each type of pad if you wanted to try them all out.

The g8 is a solid machine but stalls too easy for me. Maybe operator technique.
I have this same problem. I use a Makita forced-rotation polisher normally so when I got the G8 the stalling was kind of infuriating for me. Looking at the GR3 now, but maybe I should just spring for the PXE like I should have done in the first place. I want that rotary option and cordless seems really nice.

No idea why it took so long for it to come out but it's on the website now: BOSS™ 1" Pad Conversion Kit

*edit*
Found what I was looking for.
Thanks for posting this.
Last I read the forum, an extension for the PXE was hard to come by.
