Looking for Better Water Hose and Pressure Washer Fittings
I am looking for some affordable but long lasting quick disconnect fittings for my water hoses and pressure washer guns, cannon, and hoses
I am currently on the second set from Amazon after the first set failed in a matter of weeks and they replaced them
The second set was marginally better, at least the "stainless" balls in the retainer mechanism didn't rust the second time around
The issue I have is corrosion and oxidation
The brass is oxidizing horribly, and the coated steel fittings are corroding
Our water is hard but it certainly isn't corrosive
The fittings are cheap Chinese crap and I knew better going in
My bad
I would prefer some decent stainless fittings but I am not going to go the Obsessed Garage route for a couple of reasons
Any help or input would be appreciated

Milton on Amazon is a good brand I am told.

Eley hose fittings are the best I’ve used and very heavy duty. And I mean HEAVY. I won’t own another brand if they continue to make these.
And Milton is a good brand and what I use for air fittings.

Also - I'm sure Eley is high quality - but I have 3 hose spots - so need a bulk option = too pricey for my shoes
You can even get stainless MTM for cheaper than Eley Brass
No kidding. The other thing about Eley brass is they are so heavy, if you needed a weapon, you could bypass the knife and cut off a section of the hose and you’d have a mace.

Here's another option - if you are looking for one stop shopping for valves as well:
Gorilla Quick Connects

Re: Looking for Better Water Hose and Pressure Washer Fittings
So I have been checking these brands out and I actually considered MTM when I was first setting my system up so I went back and yeah, they are proud of their stuff
The company is essentially based in Italy and has an enormous plant there so I ASSUME their fittings are made there (seems like most of the spray guns are)
As I said, they are pricey, so, just for giggles I went on OG and looked at fittings there
Even more Pricey? Yup, figured that going in
Made in USA? Nope
Made in China? Yup, stamped or engraved right on the fitting
Costs more than a European made MTM fitting and made in China
I won't go into my rant about OG but guess who I WON'T be buying fittings from

Re: Looking for Better Water Hose and Pressure Washer Fittings
FYI- I have the full MTM setup (Gun / Hose / Fitttings / Nozzles / PF22 Cannon) - had it all for 2+ years now - now to be fair - I'm a hobbyist - and it is not used a ton - but I use it pretty regularly during the warmer months = no issues at all.....
I don't think they are that pricey - not the cheapest - but customer service is top notch - perfect answer for one stop shopping.

Contact MTM directly? I have no idea frankly. I wouldn't buy anything from obsessed garage personally. Mosmatic is another highly regarded brand. I have the MTM black hose and SS quick connect fittings it works great. I got it from carzilla in calgary canada. Carzilla sells both brands.- Chris knows his stuff.
