    should i buy m20 or m21?

so i’ve found some m20 in Canada for a reasonable price, as well as m21. My main thing is what would give my silver 2007 Audi A4 the best shine, but i also have a dark coloured car and a silver truck in my household. Protection is good and all but i’m more hoping to get the most shine on my silver as possible, PS it rains like mad here, and is quite hot and dry in summer though.

Shine is negligible if not polishing paint first. I don’t have a recommendation on those two as i’ve never used them but I can tell you you definitely should correct and polish paint.

Alot here will tell you that shine/depth come from polishing and LSP is to protect that shine/depth. I think a lsp does alot for the looks of the paint but won’t do much without prepping the paint.

    Lipstick on a should i buy m20 or m21? so to speak…..

For what its worth....Father in law has used M21 it on his black ford in the past. It looked good after. Hes not crazy into the detailing though.

I agree with crack...any lsp will bond to the surface, last longer, and look better if you first use some form of abrasive technology.

If not polishing, use M20. It has mild cleaners in it that are very effective. If you find you really like it, stock up because it appears to have been discontinued.

If you're polishing beforehand, go with the M21 as it's a pure sealant. Very nice one too. They both are actually.

Back in the 90's I used to use M20 on my family's vehicles.

oh i should’ve mentioned, i most certainly do all the prep work. I recently did a very very thorough compound/polish with m110/210 on my Audi. The dark car is a meteor gray mazda 3 which only needs a quick polish, which alone gives it a beautiful shine, i often use a nice quality paste wax as the lsp on that when i have time as it always blows me away how such a basic mazda 3 can shine so nice. The truck is actually more beige than silver but similar to silver while you can tell it’s been given a beauty treatment it’s not even remotely close to what a dark car looks like after. I always do thorough prep work though.
