Re: TW HS Acrylic tire spray coating.
I’m sure many of us are curious how it compares to other favorite dressings such as DG 253
Treat it like it's the only one in the world.

Re: TW HS Acrylic tire spray coating.
What tire coatings do you guys recommend that have durability and longevity?
I prefer using water-based tire dressings over silicone-based dressings. But I do find that they only last a week or two. Are there any coatings that truly last significantly longer and that are not silicone-based?
Thanks!

Gyron Q2 Tire & Tire Express for starters. The Adam's graphene tire dressing has been pretty good for me and after using Brake Buster on my tires/wheels my tires are never brown. This new TWHS graphene tire product is pretty good so far

Absolutely and because of that I don't understand why it says to spray directly onto the tire, these guys are stuck in the 60's or 70's or something

I’ve used Tuf Shine and the Pinnacle tire coating and both are good and similar. They are truly coatings that build a shell on your tires, almost like a thin candy shell. Multiple coats will show a lot of gloss initially but that calms down in a couple days and then the tires look really nice. The tires stay looking nice for 3 months and then they slowly start to fade.
Tire coatings are great for looking good for several months as long as you don’t rub the tire on a curb or similar. Then there is a streak on your tire with missing coating and while you can recoat that area, it is hard to feather things in. Also, you need to clean your tires well, sometimes 6 or 7 times with a strong tire cleaner to make sure you’re no longer getting brown coming off your tires. A lot of work initially but ultimately less work since you don’t have to mess with a tire dressing for over 4 months…unless you scrape the tire.
