TW HS Acrylic tire spray coating.

My TW HS Tire coating still looks flawless... but I've also driven 0 miles on it. Curious how it does for others.

I will say I'm impressed with the Wolfgang Tire Gel though on the wife's vehicle. Held up quite well through the snow. Was a great AG Amazon freebie!

For all the sludge that tires seeing it looks pretty decent

It was last applied on Dec 26th and just a reminder the tires were coated with the old TW Endura tire coating 2 weeks earlier.

Hopefully I can properly clean them tomorrow as it's going to be 4-5 degrees above freezing. Worst case scenario is going to be a Feynlab WW cleaning and once done I'll let them dry and NOT reapply...for testing purposes, ofcoarse

When I got my new car last year, I bought a wheel shield so I could literally spray black magic on the tires and be done with it. I had about three cans of black magic left because it was so cheap, and I started using it. The problem is it only last a week or so , so although I had made it easier to do it I had to do it much much more often!… There’s a reason black magic cost six bucks on Amazon…

I would have used the product up in the wheel Wells and that's it!

Well my bottle arrived today. Sprayed it over my usual tire spray since I just cleaned it yesterday but going to be in the rest of the day/evening so will watch it dry and maybe reapply

I used Black Magic Tire Wet the other day! LOL!!

Is that the stuff that makes tires super sticky?

If so, my grandpa had some so I used it since it was available at the time and GAH DAMN! That stuff is terrible! It stuck like a clear glue onto my tires and got onto my wheels and turned them sticky and black. Even thought it’s so sticky it also somehow slung onto the side of my car and left black sticky marks that only came off with bug/tar remover. Also used the bug/tar remover to get it off my wheels. Had to reapply my winter protection (Meg’s HCW spray) after using the remover to get all the gunk off the side of my car and wheels.

Also, as it wore off the tires it came off in patches, so parts of the tire looked dark/wet and other parts looked like naked tire.

Never again.

I’ve cleaned tires quite a bit for tire coatings (Tuf Shine, Pinnacle) and they recommend to keep cleaning until the tire no longer turns brown when cleaning. But in all that time, I never had a tire be that brown but I also haven’t coated large truck tires. But my thought is you need to clean your tires more until not as much brown comes out. That might help with the look of your tires before applying the TW HS coating and may improve the look and longevity. Just a thought. But good stuff, looks a lot better now.

Also, this is called a tire coating and yet you mention it is soaking in. Tuf Shine and Pinnacle look like an applied coating and dry but don’t really soak in. So I’m a little confused on whether the TW HS tire spray is actually a coating. Will be interesting to see more results over time. One way to easily tell a tire coating is if you rub up against the curb because the coating comes off in that area only.

Personally I don't think this is a coating at all. IMO this is a result of a company getting back in the game and using a "buzz word". I see a boardroom of corporate types throwing around terms they've read about online, FaceSpace groups, etc. My thing is don't try and be hip, just be solid and they have for the most part.

Tire coatings I've used have that blueish/purple stuff in the mix, hell they should know what a coating is, they made a great one about 5 yrs ago

I agree this is not a coating. I’ve used two true tire coatings and they go on differently and set up differently. This is just another dressing, it may be a good one, but I think it’s just a dressing.
