LSP recommendation
Hi all, been reading reviews left and right, but now I think I am more lost than when I started lol. Looking for a good wax/sealant/coating.
Last stuff I have been using was meguiars ultimate liquid wax. It was a breeze to put on, and I could put it on trim/plastic which was amazing. Super slick, but just didn’t last, didn’t feel like it protected from bird bombs at all.
We are looking at a new Camry in midnight black metallic. It will be factory fresh, so should not need much clean/prep. Looking for something reasonably priced ($50?) that will protect, less worried about looks.
This is a daily driver, I will hand wash every few weeks. It will occasionally see an automatic wash. Midwest winters, but garage kept. I can usually justify a long detailing/wax a couple times per year.
Thank you for your time and suggestions!

Re: LSP recommendation
You are going to get a tidal wave of suggestions here, but it sounds like you might want to check out Collinite 845 or 476S.
As for trim, Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant (WETS) is really nice, and lasts months.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

You will get a ton of suggestions...
To keep it simple, I would use a spray ceramic like Griots 3 in 1.
You can spray it on trim /rubber/glas and not have to worry about chalking or caking.
It is tough stuff Griot's Garage Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax

Not to sound silly, but is Griot's 3-in-1 technically a sealant?

Re: LSP recommendation
Cancoat might be a good option.

Hard to say because it has wax as well as SIO2.......

I’ve had good luck with Duragloss 105, collinite 845, and fk1000p. Ive no personal experience with it, but I’ve read Collinite 915 has good durability and looks nice on black.
Also, take PaulMys advice and start protecting your trim early and often.

According to Griot's it has a blend of ultra-hydrophobic polymers, nanoparticles of SiO2 and carnauba wax. So I'd say it's a hybrid sealant/wax.

Re: LSP recommendation
Already some great recommendations.
As for my recommendation; no automatic car washes. And don’t let the dealer wash it.
