I HIGHLY suggest the 40v battery as it gives a little more power and longer work time.

There is a "new and improved" model that uses dual 40v batteries, sounds like a greater tool for sureThe Season of Discontent is upon us...The Season of Discontent is upon us...
Don't forget there are other options as well for cordless pressure washers - SunJoe and Greenworks have ones that have their own bucket and have pretty stout output for battery power. SunJoe lists theirs as 1196psi @ 1GPM, Greenworks just released a new one that's 1800psi @ 1GPM. They're not cheap, but you're buying into the convenience for sure.

I have the previous gen Greenworks that's 800psi, .9GPM, and it's been great for pre-rinsing in the garage before a Rinseless wash (really ironic when you type it out... ). Works perfect for knocking off the grit so you don't have to worry if it's been longer than you'd hoped since your last wash. It actually surprised me that it worked well enough to create foam with my BOSS foam cannon and the Foaming Surface Wash. Not as thick as you'd get off a pressure washer actually rated for what the cannon calls for, but enough that I had a little peace of mind that it was able to dwell on there before rinsing it off. It's also really nice to be able to flush the wheels/wells out also.

I'd plan on toting an extra 5 gallon bucket of water out to the garage (on top of the attached bucket) if you're going to be really spraying something down, but if it's just a quick rinse you can probably make it by on a single fill. Again, if you're using it hard, I'd want to have a back up battery/set of batteries as required so you don't have any down time.

Re: The Season of Discontent is upon us...

I'm in NJ - we'll either get hammered with snow and the pre-requisite salt/brine or we'll just get lots of rain. These days I just go to my local touchless place. I go regularly enough that I get discount washes having joined their "Loyalty" club.

Maybe in the Spring I'll get a full detail in or I'll just hire the local detailer to get the job done since I tend to be short on time these days.

It's decent IMO. I'll be using it more this winter.

Luckily our winters are becoming warmer over time. The Northeast in particular has seen the largest increase in average winter temps.

My cut off is 50-55F. Below that I don't do anything.
