Best carwash brush that won’t scratch the paint (pickup truck)

    Hi,

I finally got to wash my new truck yesterday and it was a challenge doing the roof and hood with a mitt. I’ve never used a wash brush and was wondering does any company make something that won’t scratch my new paint.

the cost doesn’t concern me being it’s a $80k truck, I just can’t keep using a broom handle attached to my mitt

    thanks🙂

Griot's Garage sells an entire handle/extension/brush combo

I have the same problem washing my lifted FJ Cruiser. I have both a work platform to stand on, and a wash mitt on an extend able pole, like the one below. This is from a site here in Australia, but there will be something similar over there. I'd steer clear of brushes, the mitts are much better, and you can get refills. -psx_20210916_220946-jpg

I've had mine over 5 years, the thread on the end of the extension pole broke off, I then realised it's the same thread on paint rollers, so I bought a replacement pole for less than $10. I can't get fitted replacement mitts for it any more either, so I just put a normal noodle mitt over the end, works just fine.

I was thinking something like this

Adam's Polishes Truck Brush And Pole Washing Accessory For Trucks

I’m just not 100% sure will it scratch my hood or roof, the other item you guys showed me looks like a duster.

Check out the Griot's wash mop mentioned above.

    It uses removable Microfiber heads.

I love mine. Still going strong on season 5........
