Spray on wax or sealant for super high temps???
Hey guys,
I have on order an expensive custom offset smoker.
Typically they are painted with a flat black high heat temp pain on the outside and you'd routinely spray PAM or other oil on the outside and let the heat bake it into the paint. It works very well at keeping it rust free.
However I have on order a painted smoker that will have paint like this (see pic).
Is there a spray on sealant or wax or something I can spray on the outside to keep it protected that can withstand the high heat?

I believe they make very high temperature powder coating (made for powder coating headers, or brake calipers). I would inquire about something like that…
