I used those initially. Now they're interior and bird poop removal towels.

They also work well for wheels, wheel wells, engine bays, polish removal on headlights.

Haha no. They sell the same deal at sams club, just different brand.
I buy the autocraft ones for general pourpose from advanced auto when they go on sale...25pk for 10 bucks. I have used them on paint in the past and never marred paint.
I love the cobra polishing cloths(grey for compound/polish removal) and red(for coating removal).
I like the Cobra supreme micro chenelle wash mitt. And love the cobra 530 towels for drying after leaf blower.

I mean, so far it's the only towel I've used on my car in the last year and everything seems pretty ok to me!

Re: Suggestions on Microfiber List
Although not microfiber, it is also a good idea to have a few plain white terry cloth towels in your collection. I use them for wiping sweat and for cleaning leather seats. I clean seats with Ultima Interior Shampoo Gel and a Sonax brush. Then I wipe away the residue with a plain terry towel. The towel is soft and absorbent and you can see the amount of dirt you wiped away.

Re: Suggestions on Microfiber List
For paint the gentlest MF towels are suede or terry type. I've found some looped MF scratches.
