Suggestions on Microfiber List

Alright...so I plan to do a complete overhaul of my MF towels. Keep in mind I am a "production" detailer, not a professional detailer. Let me know if you think I should add anything else and/or remove any of these:

Of course, I already have some, but it's time to start weeding them out. I didn't list numbers I planned to purchase, except the 12-pack and well that's because it was in the name.

Alot here will use multiple mitts instead of 2 bucket. Use about 5 per car.

I personally like the Rag Company Eagle 500’s and their everest towels.

Also the forest green low pile from AG are good for sealant and wax/coating removal

I heartily endorse the PFM drying towels and also the Super Plush Jrs, they're probably my favorites as far as their applications/uses.

I would suggest you add some of these 16 x 16 PFM's. They're essentially identical to the PFM drying towels except the smaller size makes them easier to handle and good for tight spots, etc. I use one in addition to my large towel when drying the vehicle - first I use the large towel all over then go back over with the small towel for my final drying touchup. People who primarily use a blower for drying still like to have one of these 16 x 16's as well.

For a long time, this was one of Mike P.'s "go to" MF's as it has a myriad of uses, esp. for removal of waxes, compounds, sealants, etc. Buy 'em by the dozen. I find myself using these MF's for a lot of things, and at their low price point, I also use them to cut up in to small pieces to use as applicators.

This seems to be one of Mike's new favorite MF's and he suggests it's useful for far more than just glass cleaning (as per its item description). I haven't tried these yet but if Mike says they're good, they're good.

And speaking of glass cleaning, that's another PFM that I use and like a lot.

Finally, you need some bulk MF's to use for all purpose towels. For that, the Kirkland MF's at Costco are great ... $18 for 36 (they also sell a case of 324 for $119 !). These are actually quite decent towels ... 365GSM, nice nap.

I have used Eagle 500s, I just wanted to give the Cobra's a try and see how they do.

Is that the forest green ones that are out of stock? I wanted those, but no go....

The same towel comes in multiple colors ... green, gray, red, blue, etc. In stock too.

I have some of the light blue and the yellow specifically because they better reveal any contamination.

I saw the others, but everyone kept mentioning "forest green" ones so I thought it may be something with that color making them better. So it's nothing to do with the color, just a preference then?

Yep. Mike verified a while back that they're all the same towel, just different colors ... mostly so you can then segregate your towels by task.
