OPC as a Pre-Soak
I usually look for older threads before starting a new one, but came up short. I was surprised to see Ivan use OPC @ 3:1 to pre-soak. I'm sure it works extremely well at stripping TRF.
3 min mark.

Re: OPC as a Pre-Soak
•IMO:
-Using OPC @3:1 to pre-soak surfaces
that have contaminates, such as bugs
and tar, is a sensible first-step approach
towards their ultimate removal.
-On the other hand, using OPC @3:1
on vehicles’ entire exterior surfaces is
just a little bit on the side of overkill.

Re: OPC as a Pre-Soak
I feel the same. I suppose though that applying it only on certain areas could weaken the LSP on those specific areas, which may create uneven coverage. However I would reseal/protect any areas I used OPC regardless.
