Re: Need a really good bug melter - ECH2O doesn't touch bugs
Here’s is the problem for me with bug out, like so many other things that are carpro, (and I am a huge user of their products), it’s expensive. Bug out is 16 fluid ounces and you use it straight per their instructions. Bug squash is mix 3 to 1 so you get 64 ounces of bug squash for less money.

I guess it depends on the bugs you get.
I have the PB Bug Squash and one other (can't remember which). It works well. But, it's one more bottle to bring (and take the time to use) to the wash. I almost never use it.
I do use P21s Total Auto Wash @ 1:30 in a pump sprayer. Wheels and tires; Body panels for bugs and excessive road grime - it gets the job done for me. And, it's just one extra product to deal with.

it definitely depends on the bugs. There are areas where I’ve lived in the United States where you don’t need any type of bug melter at all, then there’s places like Florida. And remember, it’s not just getting the bugs off the paint that is important, but down here you need a melter to spray on your radiator and condenser’s to melt the bugs because there’s no other way to get them out. So yeah it does depend on where you live. Love bugs down here are like nothing I’ve ever seen.
speaking of bugs, I just used this film on the front of my car to drive 100 miles across Florida this morning. I hit two huge rain storms and the stuff arrived intact on the paint, and peeled off very easily…. I highly recommend it if you’re doing any type of long trip with bugs.

I simply decided to try something new and ended up liking Bug-Out more. Yes, it's can get expensive with the CarPro product, but I'm not using a bug remover very often on my own cars. For the few cars I detail for money, the ability to get those bugs gone quickly helps save time and increase productivity.
