Question for Menzerna products on new car paint

I can buy some opened 4oz menzerna through a friend for cheap ($5 a sample). The available products I can choose are Menzerna 400, 2200, 2500, 3000, 3500.

I will only polish this one new car that will come soon also being my first time polishing, I guess I need some reassurance here.

The car has soft and finicky clear coat, with being new and should come with minimal defect paint. I am thinking of 2500+3500 or 2200+3500.

Some YT video says 2500 is a great one step polish, will there be a penalty for skipping 3500? Or 3500 unlocks deep gloss and great finish to the paint?

Old posts says 3500 can also do the job since it's a new car? So I am a bit of confused to what to get and which to get.

    Thank you!

Re: Question for Menzerna products on new car paint

I can tell you i just used the 3500 for first time last weekend, i love it. Results speak for themselves. Imo id just use 3500 and call it a day. Used supa beast and white hybrid force pads. B4 and after pic.

Was my first time using any menzerna product.

If it's soft paint its possible 2500 might not finish as well as you want (or it might just be fine). Hard to say because there are other factors like tool, pad, technique, etc.

If you do not need to correct light swirls or other defects then 3500 is probably all you need.

I'm not sure if 4oz will get you around the car though. Maybe that is enough.

I'd grab both 2500 + 3500 just so I have options. Do a test spot with both and then decide.

2021 Tesla model 3, blue metallic. Many say its finicky and soft but there are also posts that say they are just like normal cars. I guess the manufacturer changed their coating process.

Buy the 400 and 3500. If the 3500 don't get ya where ya wanna be, adjust the amount of cut of the 400 with pad selection..... You could also do the same with 3500 but at $10 for both just grab those two and you're set and that will cover a very wide range of defect removal.

I just sold my Model 3 blue metallic.

I used Griot's Garage Fast Correcting Cream with a Maroon Uro-Tec pad and followed that up with M210 with a Yellow Uro-Tec pad.

    Posted on it here.

With a new car you shouldn't need to worry about correcting swirls, etc unless the service center put them in.

Like I said above I'd try 3500 first. Step up to 2500 if that isn't getting the job done.

What tools and pad are you using?

I have seen a blue metallic Y corrected using 3D one and a wool pad. It's not as soft as black

I am thinking of getting SPTA cordless polisher with one set of pads and I will purchase a few more along the way.

Some posts say it is around 80% of the LC pads?

I am still thinking of Fusso coat or Kiwami or King of Gloss as a LSP.

Do you have any experience with any of them and how does it compare to like collinite and other wax/sealant?

The main reason with going for Fusso is where I am from (Asia), it is much cheaper than in US/UK/EU (half the price compare to amazon).
