Haven't used it in forever. I don't even know if they're still in business.
Treat it like it's the only one in the world.

Re: CAR Dryers
I used to use my backpack leaf blower which is rated at 230mph at the discharge point. (Manufacturers claim, but it is an animal of a machine.)
It worked, but to be quite honest it would take a couple of minutes to dry most panels (especially horizontal) as it would kind of just push water around in a 180 degree pattern so that it forced you to go back & forth many times to clear only about 90% of the water. And then go back for "mop-up duty" with a drying towel.
Now, it's just a Griot's PFM for me.
No noise, no spending 2 minutes per panel, no 2nd go-round, and no BS.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Do you still use it for the yard?

I know your not a coatings guy but waxes and sealants don’t evacuate the watet like a coating. That blower would have the water jumping off the car

Yeah it doesn’t do well on my current car as not coated yet but when coated i can dry a whole car with it in 5 minutes. I bought a Toro blower for that and it just sits in the box now...

Re: CAR Dryers
I bought a Milwaukee cordless compact blower for odds and ends around the house and it works well enough as a car dryer. I use it mostly for things like wheels, grilles, and door handles and mirrors. Only really evacuates the water on the paint on my coated vehicles. I already had some batteries for this tool so it made it more affordable for me. A real dedicated heated dryer would be wonderful, and FAR more effective. But this cordless tool works well for me.

Re: CAR Dryers
Although my detailing days are in the past I just used my gas powered leaf blower. I never had a problem and used this method for many years. Noisy but effective.
