    Anything is possible.

I think the real problem is ABOVE SURFACE BONDED CONTAMINANTS - not embedded contaminants.

Things like overspray paint are above surface bonded contaminants and "yes" if there is wet or fresh paint floating around in the air and it lands on vinyl graphics it will stick to it just like it will stick to car paint and window glass.

Yes. As long as they are smooth GLOSSY vinyl graphics - not MATTE graphics.

    What are you working on?

This looks like a duplciate post?

If so - I'll combine it with the other version.

There's never a need to post two threads for the same topic.

The times stamp for this is last Saturday at 7:30pm - I was OFFLINE at that time. If I work 7 days a week, 24 hours a day - I'll end up divorced.

Yah it was double, i have no idea on how to delete a thread lol I'm new to this. but how do you get the contaminants off of the vinyl then. I'm planning on wrapping parts of my car, I been looking for video to explains how to actually clean contaminates off of it but can't seem to find any.

The first and normal approach to removing any type of contaminant off of vinyl graphics or wraps is to wash with normal car wash soap and water.

KISS = Keep it Simple Simon

If more cleaning is necessary then use a fine cut polish or an AIO - be sure they use great abrasive technology. You can use an ultra fine grade clay on vinyl surfaces but you need to use a lot of lubrication and it will help if you're already prepared and experienced to machine polish using either a fine cut polish or an AIO.

So here's what I do when I want to find something. I go to Skynet and type in some key words PLUS add my first and last name. For example, I just went to Skynet and typed in the following

machine polishing vinyl graphics mike phillips

The very first search result is this video I made and shared on my Facebook page. (I don't have a YouTube channel)

Mike Phillips - Remove swirls scratches by MACHINE in...

Note I'm using really expensive but really good "abrasive technology". Otherwise - I would be screwed.

Hope this helps. Don't over think this type of stuff.
