No, not all but when I joined AG a guy overseas who used to post alot of details he did, nicknamed it that because it cleans "out of this world" and the name stuck with me

Re: the apc king
Is there any concentrate degreaser that doesn’t have citrus and that is safe on most surfaces interior/exterior? Zep citrus is cool but can’t be used on certain surfaces...I’ve looked at p&s enviro clean to start

Re: the apc king
The d-limonene from the citrus is finicky on certain surfaces. Was trying to stay away from that lol

The Zep product I mentioned earlier is not citrus-based and is safe.

Re: the apc king
Hi folks, i haven't done much research on APC's. Is there downfalls to citrus based cleaners? I'm looking for an APC that i can use inside and outside the car.
I could get a gallon of superclean.....

The Zep ZDS 50 is some strong stuff. With a pH of greater than 13, I would dilute it at least 30:1 to get the pH to around 11.5. 40:1 brings it down to 11.3. The MSDS of D101 shows a pH of 13 which is slightly less in concentrate than the ZDS 50. A pH range of 6-8.5 is considered pH neutral. For delicate surfaces of interiors I use Simple Green diluted 10:1. With a pH value of 8, it is a safe pH neutral cleaner.

Re: the apc king
Interesting , if zep apc has a ph of 10.5-11.5 at full , I’m diluted 10:1 for interior/light cleaning. What would the ph be ? I presume around 8-9...I’m not sure how the calculation is made out

For a pH range of 10.5-11.5 I usually split it down the middle at 11 for the calculation. The formula is (original pH value - (-log (old volume/new volume))). In this case 11-(-log(1/11)) = 9.96.
That formula is used for a base or an alkali. For an acid it would be original pH value + (-log(original volume/new volume).
