It's perfectly fine for doing paint enhancements or a very light paint correction. Anything more serious and a more powerful polisher would be a much better fit. If I'm working on a new vehicle this is my go to tool but the major pitfall is battery life. From my lawn mowing days with Ryobi tools, I still have a collection of their high capacity batteries but if you're relying on the 2ah battery it comes with you'll probably be lucky to get done with a panel and it's time to recharge.

Looks like it comes with Meguiar's pads, too, so there might be some connection between the companies. This is right up my alley, in that I have a pretty good suite of Ryobi products already and I absolutely HATE cords while I'm detailing. I really want to give this thing a spin, so to speak.
Anyone grabbed one of these yet? I'm cautiously optimistic. I really hope it's decent.
