The Most OCD Thing You Do To Your Car
Figure most Geeks have at least one OCD quirk with their beloved autos.
Mine is QD'ing the hood every night to remove all dust so I can look at the hood reflection while I drive. Oh, have to clean the windshield too.
I also wipe down the wheels every couple of days.
Guess I could have a more destructive vice...at least that's what I tell the wife.
Never lie if your memory stinks...

I thoroughly clean around the inside bottom of all doors. Painted areas and seals. I also blow out/dry these areas very well. I hand wash these areas during every wash.
I also wash/dress our engine areas 4 times a year.

Re: The Most OCD Thing You Do To Your Car
In the winter I wash every friday - even if it's snowing AS I wash... I do it to get the accumulated salt off - piece of mind
I remove seats to thoroughly extract under the seats and extract/detail every angle of the seat itself
I remove my wheels to seal them and do a thorough well detail
I put the car on ramps and get under it and clean the undercarriage and pressure wash off
These are just a few

Re: The Most OCD Thing You Do To Your Car
I usually do a complete detail once a month. And wash 2 times weekly followed with a spray wax after each wash before the detail. After that it's QD every other day or everyday depending on the season (live in a rural area with a lot of farms!).
I yell at anyone that rides with me too if they drop anything on the carpet. I can't stand a dirty carpet, and with black interior it's really noticably. My girl likes to pick the cat hair off her clothes and drop it on my floor. I have made her at times use a lint roller on herself and then my seats and floor before she got in the car!
I wouldn't consider it OCD, just my car is the one I've always wanted, and I'm anal about keeping it in the best shape possible for the longest time possible. Plus I take pride in it looking great!

I go for a walk every day at lunch time... Just to check for bird bombs. I REALLY hate bird bombs...
