Re: Tire brush recommendation
I finally got to try out my Tuff Shine tire brush on tires and it turns out to be pretty great.
And since I can tell it’s clean based on the bristles still being white I also used it to clean some carpets and it works great for that too. It’s worth picking up 2.

Yeah, they work great, but try a carpet brush on a drill.. it's like comparing compounding by hand or by machine. Mike P loves it and I can see why.
Almost everyone has a battery powered drill. I would not chance it with a corded drill.

That’s definitely a great idea. I should pick some of those up.

Re: Tire brush recommendation
I need to get some carpet brush attachments for my drill. It’d definitely speed up cleaning carpets and upholstery. Not sure if it would be any faster for my tires but I’d give it a try. Anyone suggestions for a smaller attachment for low profile tires that are close to the fender?

Re: Tire brush recommendation
I got my tires pretty clean with the Tuff shine to the point i was getting white foam when cleaning. I then hit it with the drill brush and brown foam again. The definitely work better than by hand.
Used 3030 T&R as product

How can you be "unimpressed" without even using it? Use it first, then provide feedback.

Because the bristles felt the same as a dishwashing brush from the dollar store. I guess I expected them to feel different.

Re: Tire brush recommendation
I got a like from The Guz - my life is now complete. Seriously though, I was a little intrigued with the brush Eldorado recommended so I ordered it and have used it a couple times now. Definitely stiffer but I'm not sure yet if that necessarily translates into easier or better cleaning. I'll report back when I have a little more time and experience with this brush. Other than the bristles its basically the exact same.
