That "detailer" seems to think that efflorescence can occur on car paint.

•Another way I look at it is, that, even though
this Detailer—for whatever reason(s)—didn’t offer
the service needed (that was, later on, diagnosed
by you)...
-there really is no need to vilify him/his Business.
Why He may offer and perform majestically at
many other detailing services.
(Consider remediation of dog hair. Isn’t it best
to go to a Detailer that offers pet hair removal?)
•This is where research, by the “Detailee”, also
plays such an important role in finding a Detailer
with the expertise, tools of the trade, etc. that
will offer the same service that’s wanted/needed.
•Since this Detailee was not satisfied with that
Detailer’s evaluation of the problem, another
Detailer’s advice was sought.
-That’s where you come in.
Don’t you dare disappoint.

Let's just say, there are car washers and there are detailers.

Have her check with the company that is doing the work that caused the issue. We had something similar at my office, and the painter picked up the cost of the overspray removal. I got 2 jobs out of it - I guess the other folks either did not notice the white spots on their cars, or did not care.

I have two newer pickups this Friday and Saturday to remove paint overspray from an industrial water tower paint job. I believe she was going to check with the office or the contractor spraying the stucco etc.
