Can I mix Chemical Guys Hydroslick + Collinte 915 for the best durability?

I live in a hot area, car is yellow (single stage paint)

I have CG Hydroslick, Glaze, and Collinite 915.
On CG site, it says Hydroslick should be put on first, then I can use any glaze I want, and then wax.
Can I do that or is it an overkill?

Maybe I should try the Fusso/soft99 products instead of these all 3? although I want the very best collinite wet look and I don't have a problem to wax the car every 4-5 months.

    •Can you do that?
-Before becoming even a little bit disconcerted
regarding this detailing event, you can try that
combo on a “test panel”. That way you would
have first-hand results of the efficacy of such
a process before continuing on with the paint
sealing step, or steps, as the case may be.

    •Overkill?
-As far as I’m concerned, overkill can be left
to the “nattering nabobs of negativism”.

Seems like your plan should work and you would get the Collinite look to some extent. As you’ve probably read here, topping ceramics with wax will mask the ceramic properties but I think you’re looking for the wax look and who knows, maybe the Collinite will prolong the HydroSlick by filtering some of the sun and being a sacrificial layer to the underneath.

I don’t have much to say about the glaze in the middle.

I say go for it. I added what was left of my Shine Supply Flat Top to my Blackfire One Step. Added a bit more cut, I love the “new” concoction and still finishes Dow the same. You never know until you try it
