Question on synthetic clay mitts and their size/shape variations
So I used to have a mitt and now its time to get another one. I didnt mind the mitt at all but wondering if something the GG Brilliant Finish Syn Clay puck/sponge works better for ease of handling. I dont see it taking much longer than a mitt. Then I was thinking about getting something larger like a 6" Nanoskin DA foam pad used for buffers and doing that by hand. I just dont feel like using the mitts allows for flat pressure on the paint like something that is sponge backed and allows for uneven pressure, if that makes sense.
thoughts?

If you go the route of using the DA pad, grab one of these to use with it ...

I’m going to say this falls under the personal preference.
Personally I like the Optimum Clay towel when I use a synthetic clay.

I have the mitt, the GG Brilliant Finish, and the Nano-skin sponges.
I still use all three, but if I had to pick just one I'd have to go with the Griot's.
The Nano-skin sponges are great for small/narrow areas though.

Paul since you have all three, can I get a picture of them
Side by side and maybe with a dollar bill in the picture for size reference

I'll get them together when I can, may be a little bit. I'm juggling a few things tonight......

Mr. Boh... here is a Nano & the GG I grabbed from one of my bags.
Can’t find the mitt without going through all my stuff (too much stuff) but it is approximately 6x9”

For another reference, a US bill is 2 5/8" X 6 1/8".......

I bought this same combo (Griots was OTC) because i forgot to order a clay mitt when i was doing my coating.
Figured it was temporary and would replace wirh mitts/towels later. No need this combo worked great and was super quick. I feel the Griots puck applies better even pressure and easy to see where your passes end.
