Drying aids comparable to Duragloss 951 ?
Just got the backorder notice for AG 951, was thinking I could replace it with something comparable to get the items shipped out so I don't wait 7-10 days. I've been using DG 951 for maybe 10 years now and curious if there are any comparable products in the autogeek shop that I have not paid any attention. At $10 for 22oz it is hard to beat, I have no complaints about DG-951 it works great and gets the job done. I use it almost exclusively as a drying-aid assist. Any time I hand wash the car I'll spray each panel down and buff dry.
I did do a bit of searching and noticed some recommendations like Sonax Spray & Seal but that requires rinsing off after applying. If I'm going to do that might as well go full Meguiar's Ceramic spray wax or something. The easier method for me seems to be spraying the product on between the rinse and drying stage, rather than creating a second rinse stage.
edit 2: for now I'm considering the Renny Doyle Double Black Bead Maker Paint Protectant
Meguiars D155 & D156 also seem popular but require big bulk pricing.

AquaWax is my go-to for drying as well.
I find that the Bead Maker is just a tad streaky when used for a drying aid, but nothing terrible. (I just had to walk around the truck and hit those spots with my towel again).
That said, I think Bead Maker is a great product.

If you don’t want bulk, Megs Ultimate Quik Detailer is the same thing as D156 in bottle quantity.
There’s a ton of spray wax/sealants that are good for drying aids, but the three mentioned above are as good as anything and cost as low as anything.

Oh, great. I guess I'll have to buy this as well. Bringing my total of these products to around a bakers dozen. Lol

Hahaha. Sorry Paul. I call em as I see em. I like the TWWW better than DG AW and that says a lot since AW is a fantastic product.
