Reliable Youtube channels for detailing product info and comparisons
Hi,
It's been my experience that just any random Youtube channel is not a reliable source of product reviews or recommendations.
(For example, many clothing related channels are sponsored, so the person will include the product in the video. One can think of the whole video/review as a sponsored advertisement. So I don't consider it a neutral/unbiased source of information.)
I've recently started looking at auto detailing products, but I don't know if the same happens in this field also. So for auto detailing product reviews and information, I'd like to ask:
If you can recommend your best 2-3 unbiased/reliable Youtube channels please?
Thanks.

Yeah, any YT video featuring Mike Phillips, or AutoGeek.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

But Mike P isn't a "YT Influencer" All influencers are experts remember? And to pile on...it has to be true if you saw it on the interwebs/skynet!
I had my own experience with a particular YT influencer peddling his new product(s)...and I marred the crap out my car! The bright side of it was that it brought me to AGO and the rest is history!

+1 for Brian at Apex Detail. I really like Sandro (from Australia) and Jon (from UK) but their channel names escape my memory now. I think one is Forensic Detail.

I don’t watch his channel much, but I believe Sandros channel is Car Craft Detailing and Jon is Forensic Detailing.
The problem is many of the experts and people you’re looking to for this type of information on YouTube are too busy running a real business, working extremely hard on a daily basis and as business owners don’t really get to “punch in and out” and consequently aren’t going to be making a ton of videos. There’s so much more that goes on when the detailing ends and at the start of the next day, preparing for when the detailing begins.
There was a thread recently which asked us Forumers, which brands would we choose if we could only use 3 for all our detailing needs. Might be a good idea to look through the posts and see the most commonly named brands and look over reviews for them, whether here, google or YouTube. You may end up finding a few channels you like that way as well as I know that’s how I’ve found a couple I like.
If you could only use two or three product lines for all your detailing needs, what would you choose?

If I’m not mistaken Larry AmmoNYC was a wall street guy. Never an actual in business detailer. Not that there is anything wrong with that, just an observation
