Beadmaker could never do this to a towel.
Looks like the towel is water proof!

It could nearly go through the wash cycle without getting wet. Lol

Meant to like not dislike. I'm old and technology is hard sometimes

Interesting... I use beadmaker exclusively as a drying aid above my base powerlock. I find that when and if it does streak, it will dry out after 5-10 mins and looks great and feel great.

I expect the PFM to completely dry a sheeted panel on the 1st pass and it simply wasn’t happening. Was the towel completely useless? No, I did finish drying my car with it, but It was enough to make me contemplate grabbing a different towel.
I did an experiment just now with a small 3oz. glass of water. Here’s a rapid burst of photos for you to compare to the previous photo I posted in this thread.
As you can see this towel hasn’t lost its ability to absorb water anywhere near the towel in my previous photo, but after using it without a drying aid I can tell you it has lost “some” of its original ability to dry.
P.s. The towel hadn’t been washed prior to me using it on Monday. It had been used 1-2 times with Beadmaker and hung to dry. I thought I should mention that just in case anyone’s curious.
Awesome info, Ric.
I wash my PFM's after anything but a rinseless on a clean-ish paint with 3D Towel Kleen, and even then after every 2-3. One is used without drying aids, and one with.
I will say this: The first pass with my drying aid PFM is weak to say the least. It is not until the towel gets damp enough (2 passes) that it starts it magic.
The one I use "free of drying aids" seems to start immediately after the initial swipe.
I believe the drying aids block the performance on a very small level, but nothing to make me want stop using any drying aids with my PFM's.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

I guess I’d have to completely agree with your assessment.. I didn’t used to believe that until I saw it for myself.
I’ll tell you it was nearly infuriating having to make like 3 passes with my PFM to get the panel completely dry. Lol. And to make it worse I’m really stubborn when it comes to having to pre dampen a drying towel, so I was really banging my head against the wall.
Works great with a drying aid though... Makes me want to do more testing.

I’m not familiar with their music, but iirc Beavis and Butthead used to wear a Slayer t shirt every now and then, so they must be ok.lol.
