confused with Menzerna polish product chart
I am confused when looking at the Menzerna products chart, namely the "cut and gloss" portion.
Menzerna Polishing Compounds Products of Germany
Somehow the "gloss" does not make sense to me. Shouldn't the "gloss" ration go up with each succeeding finer cut polish?
Also see the "300" listed on chart but don't see it on Autogeek. Have they quite making it? I am using some now on a maroon 52 Hudson that has heavily oxidized paint after setting for 17 years. Between using the 300 with a small Metabo buffer and than going back over using 400 with my 3401, it is turning out gorgeous.

I get where you are coming from. I used to use Menzerna products. They work very well... But, I have always found them to be a bit on the oily side, and requiring more effort to remove. Now, add in the changes they have made in the naming of their lineup over the past several years, plus the simplified lineups from Sonax, Griot’s, Rupes, HD.... etc. and it was easy to walk away from them.

The "oily" part doesn't bother me, seems to clean up fine.
I wish they produced buffing pads to complement their products.
The variety of products have made it much harder for people like me to choose, I would like to stick with one line, top to bottom.

Then Rupes, or the Boss system is what you want

Not necessarily. The “pre polish” is more of a starting point. Meant to be your first step. So the gloss is really not a factor if it is meant to be followed up. Then you just go up from there with your second step. This is excluding 400 as it can be used as a 1 step. They still make 300 as far as I know. I ordered some not too long ago. AG may have just quit carrying it
