If the car isn't too bad, 1 bucket, multiple wash media (mitts, towels) and you should be okay.
If it's failry bad, then maybe hose off first.
Keep in mind, I don't see harsh conditions like crazy weather, or road salt for ice and such.
My wife's Kia still looks pretty darn good, and I mainly used rinseless for a big part of a few years.
BLASPHEMY! I use a 2 Bucket Grit guard Rinseless wash method! OFF with their heads!!!! LOLOLOL KEEP ON ROCKING!
All kidding aside either 1 bucket with multiple MF towels or the 2 Bucket method is fine. It's just a matter of preference.

Count me in with the 2 bucket rinseless washers (but I do use the bucket of towels method on occasion). I prefer a microfiber wash mitt/pad (the ones with 'strands' like the GYEON Smootie Wash Mitt), a MF towel of at least 420 GSM for a damp wipe, and a MF terry towel to wipe off what little moisture remains (The Griot's PFM Terry Weave 16x16 towels are amazing for this!).

•IMO:
-With so many varied/(hybrid) tried-and-true
car washing methods now being out of the
(detailing) closet...Is there really such a
thing as a “normal” 2BM Wash?
-Use one; two; or as many buckets as your
heart desires. No one can reasonably say:
’Whoa!! that is against the ‘!

Treat it like it's the only one in the world.
