Meguiars hybrid ceramic topping
I'm sure this has been discussed, but I couldn't find anything... always have trouble with the search function.
Just started using the hybrid ceramic for ease of use and the protection. I found that it leaves a decent gloss but wish it had a slicker feel.
The meguiars video I watched said the hybrid should be used as a topper for a base layer of wax...I'm using ultimate. Can a topper be used on top of the hybrid to give it a slicker feel? If so can ultimate spray wax be used, or would a spray detailer be better?
Thanks

Either product will work with it.

I'd recommend making sure the paint is smooth to start with. use a clay product if needed.

•If I’m not mistaken...
-Meguiar’s has also stated that this is also
the case when it comes to Sealants/Coatings.
-(Ultimate is a Sealant)

•Wouldn’t topping HCW mute its proprietary
hydrophobicity—one of its most sought after
characteristics?
-Here’s another way to look at it:
Meguiar’s has stated that HCW is best
applied as the last product.

That's what I was thinking but wasn't sure? I figured if anything, a spray detailer to get a slicker feel but wasn't sure if it would interfere with the hydrophobic property's?
