My F150 gets similar treatment as mentioned by milesvdustin and lasts through the winter. My wife’s Lexus gets GtechEXO 4.0 and it also makes it through winter. Can’t go wrong with either.

Prepping the paint by removing all contamination is the key to getting the most durability out of your chosen LSP.
It’s not necessary to polish if you’re happy with the condition of your paint (i.e. swirls and scratches). Polishing or using a chemical paint cleaning product would help remove any embedded road grime however. Getting the paint as clean as possible is what the goal should be prior to sealing it with a wax, sealant, or coating.
Why would a 2019 model year car have too thin paint to polish? You certainly don’t have to compound or polish it ever if you don’t want to, but unless you have gone over it with a paint thickness gauge to determine it’s too thin I would be skeptical of your assessment.
I had a friend with a paint guage go over the car and on some panels the paint was 70 microns or less. This is what has me worried about polishing if not absolutely necessary.
