The Best Product Ever!?
Another thread had me curious. In your detailing life, what in your opinion is the best product you ever used. Could be relative to the time it came out or current. For simplicity lets avoid mechanical items and tools and stick with applications.
2009 Pontiac G8GT
2015 Ford Explorer Limited
2019 Chevy Silverado RST Z71

Whether it’s the present day, or the past:
Go ahead...Name the detailing task;
Meguiar’s has always had the products
that I can best describe as ”kick-ass”!
{IMO: That’s the reason why they
have been around since 1901...}

I am going to have to say, Sonax PNS. I think for the price, and protection, it is a true bang for the buck product that still over delivers results.

And DURAGLOSS #253. I have used them all over the years, and nothing makes a tire look better. And NEVER SLINGS! This applied with a flagged tip brush, just works!

ONR, this for me created a multipurpose, time saving space saving dillutable liquid of joy. No more separate detail spray, drying aid,glass cleaner, interior light clean up spray and clay lube. Of course now I use other rinsless products but ONR was the first I tried or heard of and really helped me, it'll always have a special place in my heart

Re: The Best Product Ever!?
Edited: Whoops, didn’t read thread throughly. I’d say pads are in the tools/mechanical category:
3M foam pads circa late 90’s-2000’s
When I was first learning to use my Dewalt rotary I was advised to stay away from wool pads and go with foam. 3M Perfect-It pads, compounds, and polishes produced some great results for me in the late 90’s through early 2000’s. I do remember going outside and seeing some of my own induced holograms on dark paint It bugged me then, knowing it wasn’t perfect.

Re: The Best Product Ever!?
I’ll try again
I would say my favorite/best/most used interior product is Meguiar’s Quik interior detailer. Easy to use, versatile, and gives me the perfect finish on dashes and interior plastics. Only complaint is when buying in gallons the smell isn’t the greatest.

Never tried ONR, but Meguiar’s discontinued D114 was an eye opener for me for all the same reasons you listed.
