I've seen so many car wash felonies (should be, anyway) that I've lost count. My favorite was the gas station scrub down with the window washer squeegee/fluid that gets mounted on the side of the pumps. Dude did his whole car!
I love to watch neighbors wash their vehicles. One neighbor used a toilet brush as a wash mitt. Not even kidding. Same guy also finished his "wash", then launched the dirty, soapy water from the single wash bucket onto the hood, and then rinsed it again.
I watched a different neighbor hook up his electric power washer, then set it aside so that he could scrub the mud off with a wash mitt starting from the bottom, then the top. No rinse beforehand, just went straight to the mud and smeared it all over. Two month old vehicle.
I've seen countless people toss their sponge/mitt/towel etc. directly onto the driveway during the time that they rinse a section that had been washed, then go right back to scrubbing paint.
But I can't shred on people too much. When I was 16/17 I used to remove wax with old white t-shirts.
