Re: New car - What to do ahead of cquarts (not prep steps)

I did a basic wash and the baggie test today and WOW... that really works!! Apparently I did have some stuff on the paint, so I decided to take the day off and do a triple wash of iron-x, reset, spotless, quick clay bar, as it didn’t really need that much after the washings. Then did a full polish, ipa, and then applied the cquartz UK3 as well as follow it up with reload per the instructions.

Afterwards i went over it a few times with fresh MF cloths to make sure I got everything.

Whew that was exhausting! Forgot how hard on the body detailing is! But I am very happy with the results. Did the whole body, tomorrow I’ll cquartz the wheels, hit the little hidden areas and call it complete.

Thank’s again for the advice, it convinced me to adjust my plans of skipping a few steps

It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.
