But where I live, 50 degrees usually means that 50 is the "high". That means it more than likely 45 for the bulk of the day. (Late March stuff here.....)
Out of the sun, the paint feels like an ice cube to me.
I’m picking up what you’re puttin down there, p-dawg.
I radiate a lot of heat though, so I’d even take 45 back when I worked in a fridge I was one of the only ones who would end up taking off their coat because I was just gettin too hot. The -20 freezer chilled me down to my soul though. Way past my comfort zone lol.
I have polished my paint in pretty cold temps though, and I don’t think I ever paid any special attention to anything when I did. Was just business as usual.
I believe at one point I did a wash, clayed, and hit it with HD speed in something like January/February? Cold as all hell in the garage but everything worked as per usual.

Let me know the next time you do that January/February polish.
Every time you change a pad, you can run me IN a beer.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

I’ll make sure I have a 36 pack of coors banquet on hand just for the occasion

Re: Detailing an old neglected car.
That's a true detailers test IMO. An older neglected car vs an exotic that leaves the garage 1 time per month
