A whole bunch of people here use WG Uber @ detailer dilution to wipedown their cars + the majority of poeple recommended Carpro Ech2o @15:1 and even 20:1... I personally use it @10:1-5:1 and almost nobody talks about using it that concentrated.

And why would you make the following statement...

Do you agree or disagree? You’re contradicting yourself.

I chose a green crayon out of the box for this:
I'm speaking about a "designated" QD like Meg's in the burgundy bottle for instance. Now noone HERE would EVER clean their entire car with that for a number of reasons, i.e price and next would be lubricity, not to mention how many of us has numerous RW & WW's on the shelf.
Ok, I now put green crayon back into the box

Fair enough. You do you. If that works for you then that's all that matters, but for me personally there's just much better options for wiping down a dusty car than a QD.

Ok but that doesn't change the fact that quik detailers are high lubericity. Saying they aren't is just wrong

But you agreed with the following statement enough to hit both “like” and “thank” for the following statement...

Ok yea you’re making a ton of sense.

Well as usual around here lately. People tend to start getting pissy or defensive. I personally feel a QD isn't a good enough product for actual cleaning duties no matter how light the dust might be.....Personal opinion nothing more nothing less. I'll see myself out from the rest of the conversation here.

Is there a dilution I should try?
Thanks everyone.

the role, that Spray Detailers (QD’s) play in
car-care, to the nth degree.

Re: Daily ‘clean ups’...Best process & products?
IMO, QD's , when used on a dry vehicle, are only for those which have acquired dust while parked inside and stationary. I use GG's Best of Show, Speed Shine, and Kenotech on my Dark Burgundy El Camino with original lacquer and have never generated swirls.
Once it has been outdoors, it's Waterless or Rinseless washes only. Since I've polished the aged, deteriorating paint to marginal thickness over the years, I'm not about to take any chances.
I hold to the same principles on my Black DD with modern paint and with the exception of a few times when I've done waterless where I probably should have done Rinseless, my principles have served me well. I suppose a near flooding of the surface with a QD would work in place of a WW, but considering the cost and labor differential, it isn't worth it to me.

Re: Daily ‘clean ups’...Best process & products?
QD’s clearly have high levels of lubrication. You can feel it with you fingers....That said, when used in a quantity that you’d use a WW it streaks and looks blotchy/hazy. And that’s the issue I have.
I guess I’m just trying to understand how people use QD’s (assuming money isn’t an issue) vs WW’s.
Buying a QD for JUST a drying aid seems silly. Especially since QD’s like reload are clearly made to mist an entire panel and add a little protection behind.
