No doubt about 845 being a winner. I love it.
But, like Roger said...... 476/915 are really worth a go if you like the 845.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Don’t worry ‘bout it.
Just remember the following motto

‘on the spur of the moment’):
”It’s: MF-towel and 520;
Not: MF-towel and H2O!”

Thanks for sharing your experience with this. I’ve noticed the same thing, but thought maybe it was my towel choice or the fact that most of the cars I use it on at WW ratio probably don’t have any actual protection in place.
(I fix cars for a living, eventually you leave a stray forearm/hand print on a fender despite best efforts. I briefly used Meg’s OTC Quick detailer before finding a home here, but was immediately aware in the noticeable change in appearance/beading it left - despite working primarily on a “luxury” brand, most cars that come through are clearly only appliances to the owners. Using 914 helps provide a safe clean without leaving obvious signs of having touched up a spot)
I’ll have to play with the ratio sometime and see how it affects wipe off. I’ll confess while I’m using my own microfibers, I’m not using my top shelf options. As you mentioned - it’s not that it’s imposs to wipe off, more that it takes more passes than you’d expect to get dry.
I’ve got too many rinseless options in the mix - don’t remember what 914 was like for wipe off last time I used it for rinseless duty. I’ll have to give it another go and see how it fares.
Slightly back on topic - while I’ve got great respect for Collinite (though no personal experience with their stuff), don’t know that I’ve got a use-case hole that I need it to fill. Hope it’s just the right thing for somebody!

Make sure your not over doing it with 914. It calls for 1/4 oz per 32oz. I tried 1/2 once and have more issues with streaking. 1/4 oz with 32oz distilled water and it’s been a beast for me.

I make a gallon at a time, 2 ounces with distilled water and I use the good, plush towels from brand LM and now Rag Company Eagles are in the mix, before were some random plush, edgeless ones through Ebay.

•Just like Collinite NO.s 476, 845, and 915:
-I’m sure hoping that Collinite NO. 520 also
contains enough “non-carnauba” ingredients
so that it, too, has that wonderful, industrial-
strength-solventy “Old-School” aroma.
