    Clean and Treat floor mats

Hit them with an APC and then scrubbed with soapy water. After they dried I scrubbed again with mother’s. I wiped off excess product with a towel and compressed air.

I would be terrified they would be slippery, or be slippery if wet.

I thought so to, but they weren't. in fact they almost felt tacky on the husky mats. I could of done a better job on the drivers side but I was rushing.

I have done the same with the same product after getting them very clean with APC. No slippery effect, but I think the trick is in wiping off the excess as the OP mentioned. Mine were Husky Liners as well. Did the same with the wife's Weather Tech's and achieved same result.

    Great looking mats, hmardown.

I have all-season floor mats much like those, and while I haven't tried the Mothers, I clean mine with Super Clean diluted at 3 to 1 and then have finished/protected them with Stoner Trim Shine and have gotten very similar results. They are a bit "slippery" for the first day or two, so I do have to drive very carefully initially (LOL)

once way before autogeeking I used armoral on my mats. well let me tell you the black and blues are just starting to disappear. but that mother's trim cleaner were not slippery after doing them. I will say a few days later it was raining & my feet got wet causing a little slickness. but nothing like using armoral that stuff almost put my shin through the firewall.

•To ensure there is no slipperiness...
    -I’ll suggest to use WeatherTech’s
    FloorLiner/FloorMat Cleaner and Protector.
