Any Carpro Descale users? I swear this stuff cleans better than most shampoos.

It's always in my collection and I agree, cleans great as it's acidic, so I use it sparingly

Love it but I only use it as part of my quarterly deep cleaning or when I’m doing a yearly maintenance on a customer’s coating. It’s magical how it can bring a “clogged” coating back to life.

Descale was a bust for me. (Used as snow foam and in bucket). It cleaned decently but felt no better than Reaet
Have high hopes for Labocosmetica Purifica.

Never used it for its cleaning power. It comes out if I know that the vehicle has light water spotting or serious neglect. It’s always followed up with Reset.
Add one ounce of it to a 32 oz sprayer and fill it with water. If you have a glass enclosed shower it makes the best water spot cleaner I’ve ever used. Spray on the glass and wipe with a damp microfiber clothe and it beats any of those overpriced cleaners lining grocery store aisles.

It certainly has some bite to it, although not a product I would use frequently.
In my case, I use it as the last chemical step when decontamination washing.
1. Apply iron remover to the whole car from dry, allow to soak
2. Foam an alkaline soap over the top of the iron remover, allow to soak
3. Rinse
4. Foam Descale onto the whole car, then contact wash
5. Rinse
The idea with that is I have attacked the car from one end of the pH scale to the other............. pH neutral (iron remover), pH alkaline (Carpro Lift for example) and pH acidic (Carpro Descale).
From there, I will clay if necessary while the car is still wet.

Re: Current Favorite Soap/Shampoo
Since I last replied in this thread with regard to my favorite soap, I still gravitate towards Carpro Reset and KCx GSF the most.
But I'm also loving Opti-Coat M-Wash. For whatever reason, the brand doesn't offer this product in gallon format, so it's not economically viable if you use a lot of soap. But it's just as slick as Reset and GSF, foams like a champ, smells fantastic and best of all, rinses from the car in the most effortless way. M-Wash would be one of the most free rinsing soaps I have used, sitting with DIY Incredible Suds and WoWo's Detailer Shampoo.
And after resisting it for many years, I have strangely fallen in love with Meguiar's Hyper Wash. I probably use more of it than I should, but the foam quality is one of the best available, its economical (when on sale) and it cleans very well. If it only had a more modern scent profile, then it would be almost perfect. I really didn't think I would like this product as much as I do!

Current Favorite Soap/Shampoo
Meguiars Hyper Wash has been amazing ever since I started using a foam cannon. The suds are phenomenal and I’m even more convinced than ever that suds absolutely do matter when it comes to both lubricity & cleaning power and I’m willing to go to war about it.
Washing has never felt as slick as it does now. I love the foam. 3oz. in the foam cannon produces mountains of thick foam.

That Opti-Coat line (at least here in the US, not sure how you got yours) is made for the certified Opti-Coat installers to sell to their coating customers who want to do their own maintenance. Originally it was only available from the installers or direct from Optimum. Last year TRC convinced Optimum to let them sell it, AFAIK they are the only ones. Anyway, that's why it doesn't come in gallons.
